EW Again

After trying to organize (we still need to work on starting the scrims more quickly), we had a great and fun game v EW. Players on SoL were:

Athena, Kira, Zolo (battlemaster), RG, Melon, and Tyrary with Wall and Taicho standing by (Taicho available but not spectating).

This was a 6 v 6 first to 10 rounds wins. The final score was 10-5 for this lengthy battle. I think we did great on this one given the competition we had. Again, we can work more on the organization, but overall, we were much better prepared than our previous scrims for this one. We were all in vent, Zolo was given scrim battlemaster (so he is the one forming and implementing the tactics through vent), and we worked together as a team. One thing we need to work on is our timing starting the scrims and our organization/tactics in-game can always be improved since the sky is the limit there. We did amazingly well for only having 3 from our Alpha Team. Gaar and Vamp had to sit this one out and I believe we may expand our Alpha Team to 10 people so we can start having larger scrims. Oh, and we had an annoying vent spammer pop in around half-time. Oh well lol. We are planning another scrim with EW next Saturday and I'm trying to make this one a little earlier (requesting it be at 7 pm EST instead of 9 pm EST). Sorry I couldn't make it but I got screwed over in my real life schedule at the last minute.

Awww, i was wondering where u were Ant. But ya, anyways, we did a great job... A lot better than i personally expected at first.... Mainly, the only reason we lost was becuase they always broke the windows, and they were just a tad bit better. Was super fun though, and i hope more people can make it next time!

I'm hoping Gaar, Blu, and Vamp can make the next one then we can find one more to make it a 10 v 10. That would be great. I'm not sure how the classes would work but Frenz and I could work it out.

Tbh i think SoL need more Euros so we can have a Euro division. It would make it alot better for us Euros. But the only way we can do that is by having a Euro server. So i might get one some time soon for SoL if that is alright? So we can start hunting for some Euros? lol

Hell, I'd even be on the SoL Euro server. I'm up late enough half the time. Sucks to be me lol...it's 4:29 am now haha

I didn't even see the post before I was told on the server the day of the event there was a scrim later that night. I already had things I needed to do. I can't always make it to things with such short notice. I missed a beta test too because people decided to plan it only a day ahead. I get on the forums almost every day and didn't see either of the messages.

Lol Gaar, I'm not bitching you out or anything. Most of the communication took place on the EW forums and I didn't even know for sure when it would be till Friday. This one is sure to happen though (730 on saturday). I'm hoping we can get 10, but who knows.

If I happen to get lucky and get a day off, me and my pop usually play some SCII or TF2 on the saturday afternoons, so I tend up missing most events scheduled then.

We had a problem waking people up from afk last time so I expect everyone possible to at least be online. If we can keep this up, it will be a good thing for both SoL and EW.

And even though I won't make it, I noticed a big problem is people coming either exactly on the dot or later than the scheduled time.

If you just managed to be on, thats fine, but if your on another server or just browsing the web, you need to be at least thirty minutes early!!!
